Terugblik

Even terugblikken naar 2010, dit is volgens mij de laatste grilse die ik in het meer van de Black Valley gevangen heb. Ik heb er altijd graag gevist maar het is daar te druk geworden en de wegen zijn er te smal voor het huidige verkeer. Bovendien is het visbestand er gedecimeerd. Dat is trouwens overal zo, in reportages op de BBC is te zien hoe de rivieren in Groot Brittanië praktisch allemaal vervuild zijn...

Flashback to 2010, I think this is the last grilse I caught in the Black Valley lake. I have always loved to fish there, but the place has become too busy and the roads are too narrow for the current traffic. Moreover, the fish stock has been decimated.
