Geknipt

 

Omdat het 'hondenkot' van onze waterpomp niet het mooiste zicht was in de tuin hebben we daar ooit een haag voor geplant. In het begin dachten we dat die nooit dicht genoeg ging groeien en dan hebben we er maar genoeg compost en mest aan gestrooid. Dat wreekt zich nu want ze moet minstens driemaal per seizoen geknipt worden. De koffer van de auto moet open want het is terug heet en droog. De petunia's op de voorgrond doen het goed maar enkel dank zij alle dagen gieten...

 

Because the 'dog house' of our water pump was not the most beautiful sight in the garden, we once planted a hedge in front of it. In the beginning we thought it would never grow close enough and then we put plenty of compost and manure around the roots. That is now paying off because the hedge has to be cut at least three times per season. The trunk of the car has to be opened because it is hot and dry again. The petunias in the foreground are doing well, but only thanks to watering every day...
